Amato Vino is the small-batch Margaret River label of winemaker Brad Wehr. Based in Witchcliffe, Wehr works with traditional and alternative varieties through lo-fi, hands-on methods, producing expressive wines with a creative edge and a strong connection to regional vineyards.

Tasting Note

Cherry, rose water and blackcurrant meet eastern spice, dark chocolate, mocha and forest-floor savouriness. The palate builds from delicate red fruit into boysenberry, blueberry and plum, with gentle acidity and fine, softly firm tannins.

Pair with roast lamb, grilled beef, mushrooms or aged cheddar.
