A bright, finely structured Adelaide Hills Gamay from the Eureka Vineyard at Woodside. Grown over ironstone, quartz and clay on the site of an old gold mine, Blue Eyes uses whole-cluster fermentation and gentle, minimal-intervention winemaking to combine vivid red fruit with freshness, spice and savoury mineral detail.

Producer

Worlds Apart Wines was established by Louis Schofield and Hannah Jeffrey in 2017 with a simple goal: to make thoughtful, delicious wines that people genuinely enjoy drinking.

Working with sustainably grown fruit from selected South Australian vineyards, they favour earlier picking, minimal intervention and attentive winemaking to produce pure, energetic wines with freshness and a clear sense of place. Blue Eyes is named after their daughter Zoe and the brightness of her blue eyes.

Tasting Note

Wild strawberry, raspberry and violet lead into cranberry and pomegranate, with touches of black pepper, earth and dried herbs. The palate is energetic and medium-bodied, with silky tannins, refreshing acidity and a savoury, gently mineral finish.

Serve lightly chilled with charcuterie, roast chicken, pork, beetroot dishes, grilled vegetables, soft cheeses or mildly spiced food.

Free local delivery within 5km of Lennox Wine, with no minimum order.

Australia-wide delivery is $20, or free when you spend $300 or more. Orders are dispatched five days a week, and local deliveries are handled by the Lennox Wine team.
