The 2022 Bellebonne Vintage Cuvée is a single-vineyard traditional-method sparkling wine from Pipers River in northern Tasmania. A finely balanced blend of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir, it was made from just ten barrels and spent three years on lees followed by six months on cork before release.

Bellebonne is Natalie Fryar's independent Tasmanian sparkling-wine project. After more than a decade refining her craft at Jansz, Fryar established Bellebonne to make small-production traditional-method wines that capture the purity, cool-climate energy and natural elegance of Tasmanian fruit.

Tasting Note

White peach, nectarine and citrus blossom meet strawberry, red cherry and gentle spice. Lees and barrel maturation bring hints of brioche, almond and cream, while fresh Tasmanian acidity and a fine mineral line carry the wine to a long, dry and composed finish.

Serve well chilled with oysters, lobster, roast chicken, creamy risotto or soft cheese.
