The 2023 Jericho Bracken Vineyard Shiraz is a single-vineyard McLaren Vale wine from the upper and mid-slopes of the Bracken block. Wild fermentation and fourteen months in French oak give concentrated fruit, savoury complexity and a firm but polished structure.

Jericho Family Wines continues a family connection to South Australian grape growing that began in the 1940s. Neil and Andrew Jericho combine broad regional experience with hands-on vineyard work, producing thoughtful wines that carry the family name and a strong sense of place.

Tasting Note

Blackberry, dark plum and red mulberry lead into liquorice, tobacco leaf, fennel and roasted-meat savouriness. The palate is rich and powerful without becoming jammy, with fresh acidity, velvety tannins and a long, spice-laden finish.

Pair with steak over coals, slow-roasted lamb or charred seasonal vegetables.
