The 2020 Salomon Estate Wildflower is a co-fermented blend of 96% Shiraz and 4% Viognier from Finniss River. Fermentation in open vessels followed by fourteen months in French oak gives a fragrant, savoury red with ripe fruit, lift and finely shaped tannin.

Salomon Estate is the South Australian project of the Salomon family, whose Austrian wine history spans generations. At Finniss River on the Fleurieu Peninsula, Bert and Gertrud Salomon farm an elevated vineyard shaped by cooling maritime influence and produce expressive wines with natural freshness and structure.

Tasting Note

Raspberry and dark berries are lifted by violet and white pepper, with iodine and savoury spice adding complexity. The palate is generous yet balanced, finishing with fine, powdery tannins.
