The 2024 Lyons Will Chardonnay is a single-block Macedon Ranges wine from 25-year-old vines at Lancefield. Hand-picked fruit was wild fermented in barrel, completed full malolactic fermentation and rested in French oak for nine months, producing a layered, mineral expression.

Lyons Will is a family-owned cool-climate estate at Lancefield in the Macedon Ranges. The vineyard is worked by hand and the wines are produced in small volumes, with an emphasis on sustainable growing, low-intervention winemaking and the tension and perfume that define this elevated Victorian region.

Tasting Note

Stone fruit and citrus are joined by savoury creaminess, subtle struck-match complexity and fine mineral detail. The palate is poised and textural, with pure acidity carrying the wine to a long, composed finish.
