The 2024 Rouleur Yarra Valley Pinot Noir blends fruit from Healesville and Kangaroo Ground. Indigenous fermentation, 25% whole bunch and eight months in large-format French oak produce a fragrant, juicy Pinot with red-fruit lift, earthy depth and fine tannin.

Rouleur is the small-batch project of Yarra Valley-raised winemaker Matt East. The son of a grape grower, East founded Rouleur in 2015 after a career spanning vineyards, wine sales and marketing. He sources distinctive parcels, picks for freshness and uses minimal intervention to offer a personal view of vineyard and vintage.

Tasting Note

Deep red cherry, strawberry and blue fruit are joined by rhubarb, cinnamon, tilled earth and subtle malt-like oak. The palate is silky and juicy, with cranberry freshness, dusty tannin and a lightly perfumed, spicy finish.

Pair with roast duck, pork, salmon or charred eggplant.
