A true field blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre from a tiny, organically farmed bush-vine site in Seppeltsfield. The three varieties are interplanted, harvested together and co-fermented, creating a fresh, detailed expression of the Barossa Valley with modest alcohol, vivid fruit and fine-grained tannins.

Producer

Vanguardist is a small, first-generation South Australian wine producer led by vigneron and winemaker Michael J. Corbett. Officially launched in South Australia in 2014, Vanguardist works closely with distinctive vineyard sites to produce small-batch wines that combine traditional methods with a modern, textural approach. The wines are handmade, bottled and labelled at the family’s Barossa Valley base.

Tasting Note

Bright red and purple fruit meets darker, brooding notes of black cherry, raspberry, blackberry and earth. Savoury herbs, dark spice and a gently mineral character add complexity. Medium-bodied with fresh acidity and fine, energetic tannins carrying the wine through a long, lively finish.

Serve at a cool room temperature rather than chilled. Pair with grilled lamb, roast mushrooms, charcuterie, smoky eggplant or herb-led Mediterranean dishes.

Free local delivery within 5km of Lennox Wine, with no minimum order.

Australia-wide delivery is $20, or free when you spend $300 or more. Orders are dispatched five days a week, and local deliveries are handled by the Lennox Wine team.
